My little girl is 7 weeks old and like any newborn, hard work! Haha. She doesn't sleep very well at night or in the day, say hello to a permanently exhausted slimming world member!

I think this sleep deprivation is really making me crave sugar, I feel like I can't live without it and cake seems to be the strongest need.

Have you guys got any quick go to sweet treats? I don't really have the chance to bake anything so off the shelf and ready would be amazing :-) x

I've been there! My dd is 7 months now and it's a bit better.

What about some mini meringues? I crumble them onto fruit and top with yogurt. A bit of a sweet kick. Morrisons mini meringues are 1 syn each and m and s do some lemon ones that are low too.

I find having sugar or any other fast carb makes me crave more carbs unless I have it with some thing that is slower burn, like oats.

Have you tried baked oats or over night oats with lots of yummy fruit?

Oat pancakes, maybe with a dribble of maple syrup.

If you need the full sugar yummyness then a frozen curly whirly is great as it lasts ages.

Congratulations on your baby, don't be hard on yourself, 7 weeks is no time at all and you'll be shattered and needing fuel. Be kind to yourself, rest and try to enjoy these early years X

I love a vanilla omelette covered in lemon juice with sweetener. Sounds odd but perfect mix of tangy and sweet and the egg fills me up! Super quick to make too
