Slimming World
Is SW still basically the same as a few years back?

This might be a bit cheeky because I would know this if I just paid to go to a SW meeting but things are tricky at the minute and I go to weight watchers with DP as he is doing great at it and doesn't like the idea of SW.
I had thought I was doing really well at WW but was losing only 0.5lbs most weeks which is fine I suppose but it hasn't inspired me and I've been really off track this past 2 weeks and need a kick up the backside to get going again. The thing is, I've always done much better at SW but DP is doing so well at WW that I don't want to stop going with him or I know he well stop going to weigh ins.
From what I remember of SW, a third of the plate has to be superfree foods which are fruit and vegetables. Lean meats and fish are free as are potatoes, ALL pasta and rice? Add to that a HeX a and b (can someone refresh me on those?) and some free foods which I can remember to be mullerlights, pasta and sauce, mug shots etc and I know I can find some info on these online but if anyone wants to tell me some more additions I would be really grateful.
Have I got the basis right?
I know it's really silly to go to a WW weigh in while doing SW but I think it's better than letting DP down and starting SW weigh ins by myself which is too scary to even consider.
Thanks in advance.

Those are the basics.
Have you looked at ww no count. Similar to sw have a chat at your group.

Why don't you buy a SW magazine as it explains it all in there?
JorahsMissus · 23/03/2017 00:23
SW magazine is a good shout.
No count is very similar, yes but I just miss rice (only brown on no count which is disgusting) and I think SW is a little more versatile as rice, pasta and noodles will give a better range of options.
Thank you zoka, I forgot about that.

If you wanted to follow SW a bit closer, you can allegedly buy the book on EBay.
Just search for "slimming world book" and there may or may not be some of interest

I've looked at that Dquin, prices can get very silly. I'm actually very tempted just to go to a SW meeting, join up, get the books etc and then go to WW weigh in with DP every week (we don't stay for meetings).
