Slimming world online

Hi, does anyone do slimming world online?
Wonder if anyone could tell me whether it's worth me doing. I'd like to lose around 15 to 20lbs but don't have time to go to the groups. It works out as £60 for 3 months, is it much different?
Feel like it's abit pricey!

It's £4.95 per week to go to a group so roughly the same cost.

Thanks chessie I joined earlier. Got my MIL to refer me, she gets a month free and I got a tenner off, not bad!
I am very confused now though, how can I eat my body weight in spag bol but a muffin is 2 days worth of syns?
I have a lot of reading to do! Ah well, not like I'm in the middle of my dissertaton or anything Wink

It's because the spag bol will fill you up so you won't want to eat much after. The muffin won't fill you up so you will want to eat more shortly afterwards. With the spag bol remember that you need to make sure a third of your meal is speed, which will reduce the portion of pasta that you eat.

chessie thanks, that does make sense!

Gold membership includes books I think

I do online cause I know I won't go to groups and especially won't go when I've had a bad week

I find doing online is best for me. I did the classes but I couldn't spend the whole meeting there so I would go and get weighed then leave. Online is so convenient for me. I have the app on my phone and when shopping it is so handy when doing a syn search if I see something I fancy (4g permitting ofcourse). Everything is saved to your account and you can track and log everything you do. I know you can update your account and put everything you have eaten on it but I find if I write down what I've eaten I'm much more conscious. Got a brilliant diary off Amazon by someone that makes them for Slimming world in mind. Good luck with slimming world!!

I've joined SW online 2 weeks ago and lost 3 pounds in my first week. Really happy with that. Tomorrow is my second WI so hopefully 😦 I lost more. It works really well for me as I can't always go to group meetings. I got a gold membership with the food optimising books. I like SW as I am totally addicted to fruit (but make sure only eat the speed) and any diet restricting fruit is definitely not for me.

Well done Zoka. I joined online on the 2nd and have lost 12.5lbs in 4 weeks (I have a lot to lose).
Online works best for me as I can find groups a bit too much at times. Especially in my tiny village where everyone likes to know everyone's business. I'm following lots of slimming world types on Instagram this gives me motivation and allows me to pick up hints and tips.

That is absolutely amazing Belafonte!!!! Keep it up! My target is to lose 3 stones and reading posts like yours is really encouraging.
