Sweeteners?

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a 'free' sweetener that tastes as close to sugar as possible? I need it for the copious amounts of coffee I tend to drink at work.
I've tried sweeteners before (mainly in the tab form) and find them just too sweet or just nasty so any help would be appreciated otherwise I'll probably end up using all of my syns on sugar.
thanks in advance

I've accidentally trained myself to actually prefer Stevia to sugar in my coffee Grin

I like Splenda. It's quite pricey though compared to other brands

I reduced my sugar by half a tsp every few weeks and now I can stomach tea without it. It's given me a few spare syns so well worth it imo.

I know some people use sugar free syrups. I'm not a coffee drinker so don't know if they're any good?

Thank you all for your help.

Bobbiedog, tesco do a sweetener that has the same ingredients as splenda. It was only a £1 might be worth a try?

I use Natvia granules, which is stevia based. It looks like proper sugar.

Still tastes a bit off but I think that of all sweeteners.

I bought it from amazon.

The Tesco value ones are good. Not too sweet and cheap.
