Overnight Oats

Been forced to try this to make my healthy extras go further.

Last night I layered it all up as per the recipe and left it in the fridge overnight.

What do I do with it now? Eat it cold? Microwave it?

What's the baked oats recipe? Is that a slimming world one?

I'm only on my first week (day 4) and not really sure how it's going to work. I've eaten loads!

Apart from this cold vomit maybe.

I made this with 0% Total Greek yogurt and even after a night in the ridge, nothing had soaked in. I used frozen summer fruits and it was so sharp I couldn't eat it.

You can do either. I prefer to warm it up but my dp prefers it cold.

Cold is yuck so I'm going to try heating it up. Can't get any worse!

I eat overnight oats every day and love it! I put the oats in the bottom of the bowl, then sprinkle cinnamon followed by a few raisins and then grated apple. Finally I pour a muller light yoghurt on top and cover. Stick it in the fridge overnight then in the morning mix it up before eating. Delicious.

Do you give it a good mix. I found it strange at first but it does fill me up.

I hate cold oats too but the baked are really nice. Heated up and with a cold muller light yoghurt it's like a desert first thing in the morning

I found you have to mix the yoghurt and oats. If I just layer them, some of the oats stay dry. I also found it's better using a flavoured youghurt rather than plain. If your frozen fruit is a bit tart you could always sprinkle a bit of sweetener over, but I find it ok when I've used a mullerlight as the sweetness in that offsets the tart fruit.

I do the oats, then a glug of almond milk and 2 tbsp of FF greek yoghurt. I then top with a chopped up apple, sprinkled with a tsp of sweetener and loads of cinnamon. Leave overnight then mix together in morning before eating cold. It's delish. I found the sw version gross.

Don't use Greek yogurt it doesn't soak up as well. I use fresh fruit rather than frozen and a little bit of honey (syned) I like it
