Big or small goals?

I'm joining slimming world in the next few days, I have a lot to lose (130lbs to be heathy weight for my height) so not sure whether I'd be better setting one big goal or starting off with a smaller one and readjust?

I rely on both! I have a target in mind for a healthy weight range - 3 1/2 stone from my initial weight and still 2 stone away so kind of difficult to envisage - but I've done small goals to get started. So my first was my 1/2 stone award, then to get under the next stone mark (was 13st 11lb when I started), then my stone, then 10%. Next is 1 1/2 stone (2lb to go!). I've achieved one of these every couple of weeks which keeps me motivated. Good luck!
