Looking for a bit of advice as I am pretty fed up. I was poorly a year ago, and after getting better, had put on about 1.5 stone. I headed back to the gym but still couldn't shift the weight, so started SW recently.
The first week, I religiously stuck to the food optimising plan, had a few syns (not that many - 12 in total over the week) and did about 5 hours throughout the week at the gym which included cardio and weights.
My first weigh was last week and I hadn't lost a single ounce or pound!! Nothing.
I was advised by my leader that I may not be eating enough but that is not true. I have eaten well all week and not gone hungry; in fact, I couldn't have eaten more as I wasn't hungry. I tried to eat lots of protein due to my gym routine and made sure I had power snacks (bananas, chicken etc).
Am I eating too much? So disheartened as I truly followed the rules to no avail :(
Has this happened to anybody else, and/or, is there any advice you can give me before I stop going, as I see little point wasting money if it is not going to work?
I appreciate that it has only been 1 week and I shouldn't give up, but am not really feeling overly positive at the moment.
