I've just signed up online. What recipe books from the bookshop are most recommended. Thinking fakeaways but what else?

Try google for free recipes. I've got the 'family feasts on a budget' which looks ok. There may be a Facebook page you can join where people share recipes. My local group has a page but it's for our class members only.

Family Feasts on a Budget is AWESOME, as are Free Food Feasts, Light Bites and Meals For One.
We got the last one because there are just the 2 of us here, and doubling up a recipe is easier than halving one for 4 people.
FF on a Budget aims to have recipes coming in at £1.50 per portion at time of publishing, and Free Food Feasts give some great ideas for boosting your free/speed food consumption, rather than just having a chunk of salad or steamed veg with your meat and starch.

We're in week 13 and we've not had anything twice except that we always have an omelette on group night as it's quick, and I do't get home from work till 6, so DH can have everything ready to cook as soon as I get in. Next weigh in tomorrow, lost 1st 10 1/2 lbs as of last Tuesday.

The next book I want to get are little book of soups and an all in one, one pot type which is a hardback. Easier to eat SW style in the summer. Winter makes me want to eat all the calories, but my palate has widened in the last 3 months, so I now eat a lot more beans, which will help.
