DH and I love "picky bits" for dinner on a Friday - cheese, cold meats, olives, pate, more cheese, and of course, crusty bread and wine. Just one of several reasons I am now 3 stone overweight! 
I don't want to feel like I have to sacrifice everything to lose weight (nor should DH) so I'm hoping to do a low syn version. So...my ideas so far are limited to free cold meats (ham, turkey?), smoked salmon, roasted red peppers from a jar, tomatoes roasted in balsamic. Anyone any other ideas? What about a vessel on which to transport these items to my gob other than bread or crackers? Please don't say lettuce leaves
