What do people eat on SP days and do they really help boost weight loss? Thanks

I'd like to know this too! Only joined SW about a month ago and did an SP day yesterday after being off plan over the weekend, but not sure I did it correctly!

I had weetabix with milk and raspberries for breakfast as my HexA and 1 of 2 Hexb, then a wholemeal bap and two boiled eggs for lunch, bap was 2nd hexb.

For dinner I had steak with carrot batons and broccoli. Snacked on speed fruit but then did have a muller yogurt for dessert, although I've heard some people say you shouldn't really have free food?!

It's not completely clear in th SW literature TBH, and everyone seems to have their own take on what you can and can't have.

Hope this threads clears it up a bit!

I do so several days a week as I can't eat rice or pasta and rarely eat potatoes anyway.

Basically you only eat food that has a P or an S, free food that's not an S or P is a no no.

So pasta, muller lights etc.

Half your plate has to be s food.

I can't say wether it helps or not. I have lost weight faster than I normally do. But don't want to say it's definitely down to that.

People at my group say that it does when they do a few days of SP.

Do you still have your 15 syns on SP days?

ChessieFL · 22/03/2016 15:41

Yes, you still have your syns. I've never noticed dramatic results when doing sp but I have sp days quite often because I would rather have bread than pasta/rice/potatoes.

curren · 22/03/2016 15:45

Yes all your Syns and you can have 2x HEb

SpoonBender · 23/03/2016 10:23

That's great I think I get it. I'm going to give it a go for a couple of days. Can you not eat fruits that are not S like bananas and blueberries?

Yeah, unless it says s or P you can't have it.

It's fairly restrictive but I find it ok because I am used to it.

SpoonBender · 24/03/2016 12:54

Are baked beans ok on SP days?
