can you REALLY eat as much as you like?

I've got the eggs and meat and crab sticks in. I'm so hungry I could eat the lot right now so can you really eat as much free food as you want and still loose weight?
ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 29/02/2016 19:05
As those are all protein, I guess you can. There are only so many crab sticks you can eat before you're sick of the sight of them surely?

You're supposed to eat 1/3 speed with all meals, and go for speed first for snacks. So no you can't just eat egg, meat and crab sticks and be 'On plan'

You can! If it's free food, go nuts. Super free foods ie. fruits and veggies are even better, but you can have as much lean meat and pasta, rice etc as you like.

Remember that as well as the third speed food, you're also supposed to eat to satisfy your hunger, not stuff yourself silly or binge.
The idea is that there is always something you can eat and you don't have to count and measure things. It isn't in the spirit of the plan to eat 10 crab stick omelettes for example.

Honestly, no. You can eat as much as you like but you should only be eating when you are hungry, and eating until you are comfortably full. If you eat when you are bored, no matter how good the thing you eat, you are still eating more than you need. When I am at home and bored I eat more, my losses always slow down compared to when I'm at home and just having my 3 meals a day. This is not to say don't snack. But it stands to reason that if you eat 3 meals, plus mugshots, crab sticks, eggs etc constantly grazing when not hungry, you will struggle.
If your hungry between meals, always try to have a drink first, it's often thirst being mistaken for hunger
The eat as much free/speed food as you like thing is really only true when a liberal amount of common sense is applied.
