Hi all
I successfully lost my baby weight over 10 years ago with WW, I've recently had another little one and need to lose 4 stone ASAP, I'm hearing everyone raving about SW but as I work full time (1.5hr commute each way) I'm worried I wouldn't have time to cook everything from scratch, any advise as to which is better WW or SW.
Many Thanks

I like sw as loads of foods that are free and you can fill up on
Iceland ready meals are nice and there are some fast things you can make but I'd say if you haven't got 15-20 mins to make a meal it's going to be tricky
I tend to have chilli, jacket potato, pasta, roasts, stir frys
Syns are fairly easy, there's a great fb group called syns allowed which I find brilliant for looking at before I go shopping
Basically 1/3 of what you eat needs to be speed food (most fruit &a veg) then lean meat, pasta/rice/potatoes
Took me about 2 weeks to get my head round it all but pleased I did

I have never done ww but after being cynical I love slimming world.
If you meal plan then it is pretty easy to bulk cook and freeze things for busy times. I always have some sauces in my freezer, and then there are the Iceland meals, soups and sauces.

I lost 3 stone in 3 months with weightwatchers plus tonnes of exercise about a decade ago. Loved the plan, and found it fairly easy.
Put it all back on after having my daughter 6 years ago and tried a few times to follow the plan again unsuccessfully. I joined slimming world at the end of October and have lost just over a stone so far.
I think slimming world is a lot easier for me at the moment, it took a while for me to get my head around, but there's less counting/faff so I'm finding it a lot easier to keep at it. There's some great groups on Facebook that really keep me motivated and I love the fact that I know which foods I can have without having to constantly work out points.
I swear by my slow cooker! Dinners ready by the time we get home and I always make extra to reheat at work the next day, it feels more like a way of life now than a diet.

I've lost 3st 3lbs since April and haven't found it too difficult. My partner and I work full time and we cook double servings of meals in the evenings and eat the leftovers for lunch at work. We both have access to a microwave at work. It is definitely doable, but the key is to meal plan religiously. We always do better when we've planned ahead. We plan around our schedule, so if we are going to be out in the evening we make sure we plan in something quick to cook. We also have a list of low syn convenience food for when we haven't had time to cook.

Does anyone have an ideas of what to eat at Bella Italia, we are going for a family meal on Saturday and I'm trying to plan what to eat, I'm not a fan of tomato so worried about my options. Thanks

Hi I just had a quick look at the menu and it's not too bad if you're doing slimming world.
Starters- best bet is the insalata Rosso as for it with no oil, it has olives in which are 7 for a syn I think but you might want to double check that.
Main course- sirloin, fillet or rump steak, butterfly chicken all can be served with salad and a side of corn on the cob (ask for no butter) there was a fillet of seabass which may have a fair bit of oil as it was on roasted potatoes, or a salmon salad. All of these should be pretty low syn but I usually allow a few syncs for oil used in cooking.
Hope that helps

Oops sorry just remembered you don't like tomatoes! Maybe not the salad then. Maybe the soup? No bread, or perhaps skip the starter.

The Bella Italia menu is on the SW website and app. If you put Bella Italia in the search lots comes up. You can have a look and see what looks best for you.
