Hi, quite new here!

Would like opinions on what to take to a friend's house as a guest for lunch? She has been doing slimming world for a year now and I would like to bring something nice that won't look like I'm sabotaging her efforts :)

Many thanks!

Fresh fruit. Maltesers are relatively good. Very small biscuits!

Maltesers! I remember them being a nice wee treat when I did WW. I think her husband would appreciate them too haha. Thanks!

Does it have to be food? Flowers maybe?
Is it to eat with lunch? Fruit salad and meringue nests?

Flowers would be nice, however I would have to pick up fresh on the day. We have to get up early and drive a couple of hours with a 'spirited' toddler :/ I have to admit I have no idea what a meringue nest is... hangs head

How sweet that you're being so considerate of your friend's diet, what about a poinsettia plant or some speciality tea or coffee beans?
