Slimming world cake recipes?

Hi! I'm new to sw and so far, so good(ish)!

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any half decent cake recipes that are very low in syns? Do they taste very much like artificial sweetener?! Thanks

If the cake is made primarily with sweetener then it is always going to have the aftertaste. Sorry.

I think it's better to just take the hit and have real cake with your syns. I think one twelfth of a Betty Crocker Devils Food cake is 15 syns. Totally worth it:o

I agree, IMO all the 'fake' cakes aren't worth it. Just have proper cake and syn it! However there are loads of recipes out there for cake made with weetabix or scan bran, just google 'slimming world cake' or look at 'scan bran recipes' on Facebook.

Ive been following SW for years and I've yet to find a nice cake recipe . It's either a mess or tastes like crap (eggy cake ew!)

If I fancy cake I buy the Weight Watchers cake slices and they're only 4 syns and are lovely.

There is an apple sponge on the SW website that isn't too bad but it really is the best of a bad lot - it is just an ordinary fat free sponge using proper sugar with apples and cinamon in and is about 5 syns for a decent sized piece.

I wouldn't have anything with artificial sweeteners in but plenty at my group rave about them.
