So I started SW 3 weeks ago and lost a total of 8lbs over the first 2 weeks, then DD was in hospital for a week and my diet consisted of cr*p- no decent food available at the hospital so was living off starchy carbs and chocolate (when I felt like eating at all- only once a day) and although I've maintained my weight, I am back to feeling tired and bloated again.

Tomorrow I go back to work and I need to get back on the SW wagon, please motivate me with your success stories- I'm struggling a bit and want to eat an entire box of biscuits

My biggest difficulty is breakfasts as I have always had cereal but it doesn't fill me up, I have an egg allergy so things like scrambled eggs are out. I use milk as my healthy extra as I like it in tea but I could use some for porridge perhaps!

I've been doing SW since April and have lost 2st 11lbs so far. It has been really slow with lots of ups and downs, but I'm still plugging away. I am going on a big trip next summer where I want to be physically fit so I don't struggle with the heat as much. That is motivating me to keep going even when I just want to eat rubbish. Just keep picturing where you want to be.

For breakfast, I have bran flakes with some fruit and milk. I find that keeps me going until lunch. The fruit really helps I think.

2st 11lb- congratulations that's incredible!

I have a big birthday coming up so trying to stay motivated for that- it's just so easy to slip into bad ways again.

I might try bran flakes, I think you are right about extra fruit to fill up!

My partner has chocolate shreddies for his breakfast. They are surprisingly healthy extras!!!

There's always the overnight oats idea if you don't want to use your milk, chuck your allowance of oats in a bowl with some fruit and fat free yoghurt, leave overnight to soak the eat on the go in the morning. It's not a texture I like but lots of people love them :)

(I've lost a stone and a half in five weeks)

I've lost 5 stone and have been at target for 6 months. I also love cereal so I tend to use my b choice for all bran. I have milk as my a unless I want cheese on top of chilli for example. Those days I have muesli with fat free Natural yogurt. I add loads of chopped banana and strawberries. It's my favourite meal of the day. I would eat cereal for every meal if I could!

There are some great ideas here. I can't help on breakfast as I've cut it out because it caused so much hassle and I discovered that I could last to lunch on a cup of nice coffee instead.
In terms of motivation I keep a fixed target jn my mind - usually not more than two months away or it's too far off. I put a reminder of it on the treat cupboard as that's my weakness.
Also, when I navy something sweet I try to get a drink first and then I assess if I'm hungry and if so will try something small but savoury. I find that once I get on the sugar band wagon (especially as nights) it turns into a steady train of sugary treats.
Good luck! I've got one pound to lose and then I've lost three stone. Unfortunately still have another two to go but over half way Grin

Thanks for all the amazing ideas! Going to try the overnight oats that Procrastinator suggested and save my milk allowance for my many cups of tea!

Congratulations on your 5 stone loss Squeaky what an amazing achievement!

Flops I totally relate to the late night sugar train! Once I've had one mini Milkyway, the flood gates are open and it's like an avalanche! I've always had a sweet tooth anyway so need no encouragement to mainline chocolate and biscuits!

I've lost 1.5lb this week, making my total 9.5lb over the first 2 weeks. Still a way to go but at least the scales haven't gone up!!
