Morning All,

I've been doing SW for a fair while now and having good success. A thought just occurred to me today: I know to remove all visible fat from meat before cooking to make it FREE but I just wondered where that leaves you with Roast Chicken? If I roast one and then remove the skin (mores the pity Angry) before eating it does that still count as FREE? It's been cooked in fat technically hasn't it if the skin is on?

I await your responses - dinner is resting on your responses!!

I'm going to say it should be fine, since fish from the chip shop is free if you remove the batter, so the same principle should apply?

I've always wondered this too as the fat drains into the juices that I make gravy with.
Even if you skim the fat from the juices there will still be some in it. How do you count it?
