It's £9.95 in total to join at the minute.

That gets you the books. Maybe take £20
That way you could buy bars/cookbook
If you wanted to

Everything you need is included, but they sell bars, recipe books and magazines - there's no hard sell though, but if you might want them them take extra.

They also do countdowns which are 6 weeks of group for the price of 6 or 12 for 10 - so worth doing if you have the money.

They also do a raffle at 10 pence a ticket, but you get a free ticket on your first night.

If you're looking for a good book to get they have just released a book of all the favourites on the plan, and that's quite a good starting point though to be honest it's fairly straightforward to use normal recipes once you get your head around it. It's just a case of cutting out oils, choosing lean meat etc.
Good luck for today! Onwards and upwards (or maybe downwards would be more appropriate Wink)

I didnt really have time to look at the books for sale today, spending my evening reading my pack and writing a shopping list!
Thank you, yes down is what im hoping for Grin

If you've got any questions feel free to ask them here. There's also a slimming work thread rumbling around. This blog has a good selection of recipes to inspire you too.
