That half syn cake...

I just made that half syn cake (quark, eggs, sweetener). Maybe I did it wrong, but omg, it was like scrambled eggs with sweetener. Boak. What a waste of ingredients.

How can I get a cake fix?

We just make a basic cake mix (4 - 4 - 4 - 2) which works out to about 85 syns sometimes with a chopped up fudge bar mixed in (about 5, I think) and divide syns by number of buns made.
Is usually about 6 - 8 syns. Nothing like 1/2 but no nasty sweetener!

It's never nice...and, it's not actually half a syn because you're misusing free ingredients.

There are some cake recipes that are low syn, because they've a lot of whisked up egg in them, but they also do have some flour (and/or cocoa) so they taste better and they're better for your weight loss because you're synning the flour rather than making something higher in calories out of free food than they're supposed to be used.
