Hello everyone, bit of a self indulgent post as this was is all about.. Me! I'm going to use this to ramble away and document my journey, would love some friends to join me so say hi if you're reading.

About me - I'm in my early 30s, have previously lost 6 stone, put 2 back on (oops) and want to lose about 4 stone to get to target. My partner and I are also trying for a baby so the weight loss journey may have an all mighty drop of about 8lbs one week! I'm a police officer and work shifts so be prepared for middle of the night updates and odd breakfasts!

Saturday
35g porridge and melon (b)
Savoury rice, ham and salad
2 x yogurts
Pork kebabs, jacket potato and salad

Syns: mayonnaise 4, tbc

Good luck on your journey! I have started an Instagram account for similar reasons hoping it will keep me focused.

Lou13e · 15/08/2015 22:19

Thanks Sirzy, I haven't got a clue how Instagram works, but like the idea of taking pics of my food, no cheating that way :-)

Looking great one day :-)

My lunch veered off track slightly and ended up going for a blooming long walk up a hill, so had two poached eggs on 1 slice of toast and had some beetroot as I was waiting to bulk up my speed food. Can't wait for mussels later! X

Monday morning is here and I'm sat in bed with a coffee, am on late shift today. Didn't end up with my mussels and linguine last night as we were both too tired to cook. More effort required today!

L: chicken tikka salad with 2 tsp of mango chutney (syns tbc)

D: chicken stir fry with noodles and loads of veg (1 syn for cornflour)

Onedayverysoon · 17/08/2015 12:12

Ah well - the muscles are something to look forward to another day! What do you do if you are too tired to cook? That is often my downfall!

Lost 1.5lbs today so 5.5 overall Smile

Going on holiday tomorrow so a bit worried!

Onedayverysoon · 17/08/2015 12:12

Menu looks good :)

Lou13e · 17/08/2015 12:28

Whoop - well done on the loss, that's great. I couldn't be bothered to cook last night so chucked a spud in microwave for 5, chopped it into wedges then put in oven so had a nice bowl of syn free potato wedges. No speed but could have been worse x
