Dinner party - friend on SW, help!

Hi SW-ing vipers! I'm having some friends over for dinner next week and one of them is on Slimming World at the moment (and doing very well).

As I'm not on SW myself, I know very very little so what would you suggest I cook for my dinner party that's not completely anti-SW? There are others coming along so I don't want to go mad, just make sure everyone is happy Smile

So far I've come to the idea of having lots of accompaniments so that everyone can load up on veg in the proportions they want, but do you have a go-to entertaining dish on Slimming World?

Anything meaty/fishy is good and not swimming in sauce.

When I go out for dinner I will usually have a fillet steak with either new potatoes (no butter) or a salad, Strictly speaking it should be with no dressing but I ask for it on the side so I have a bit of control over it.
Fat when cooking is a bit of a no no so if you can grill or dry roast that's great.
Pasta is fine as long as there's no oil in the sauce or other naughties like cream.
You are a very lovely friend for thinking of her :)

Ooh just thought, I make casserole kind of things when people come over sometimes. Beef bourginion (just use one glass of wine instead of a bottle!) coque au vin is a good one too again just one glass of wine and more stock it's still as tasty.
HTH :)

There's a truly lovely SW recipe for beef stroganoff....will see if i can dig it out. Also, I second the bourguignon. Just serve with loads of nice green veg and it'll be lovely.

Chicken wrapped in bacon.
Steak with mushrooms & philli herb cheese melted in a little milk.
Bolognaise based sauce with 5% mince, lots of veg no added oils & pasta. Or chilli & plain rice, Cous Cous but home flavoured not packets.
Lean lamb tagine.
Lots of vegetables 'roast' in low cal spray.
