Avocados are 9.5 syns!

Second day, went to enter avocado and was gutted to find it's not free. Was under syns but now on 20 for the day.

Anyway, onwards and upwards - are there any other sneaky buggers like avocados which are surprising syns? Or do I have to double check everything and anything first?

A rough day for me would be something like:

Breakfast: poached eggs on wholemeal toast or an omelette.

Lunch: egg or chicken salad or smoked salmon dip with veg sticks and maybe down cold meat or a jacket potato.

Dinner: some sort of pasta dish (bolognese or spicy tomato sauce or something) or curry and rice or salmon/chicken/steak with some sort of potato, usually wedges, with salad or veg.

I do obviously deviate from that, but it gives an idea. I do eat at free natural/Greek yoghurt though and occasionally low fat mayo. The latter usually to make coleslaw.

Thanks for your meal ideas. I'm going to rejoin group next week, I just can't do it from home. Also bought the new magazine for inspiration.

I know, but they are also one of the most nutritious foods you can eat. I am going to limit myself to half a day, because they are also supposed to help to lose weight. PLUS I BLOODY LOVE THEM!

I agree, I love avocados they they are full of healthy fat. I dont touch a lot of "nol sugar added" things, because they contain Aspartame or Fructose, which I would rather not eat. I am a label reader and if a product contains loads of ingredients which I cannot pronounce let alone know what they are, I dont buy it.

This is the one thing that bugs me, being punished for eating things that are natural such as avocados and olives. Also mashing banana and heating fruit - I love the plan but I do think it's BS. Also nuts. As long as we know our limits then I wouldn't worry about it.

I agree LaRenia, I don't syn mashed fruit or the odd avocado half.
