Olive oil as a healthy extra

Am I right in thinking that I can have 1 tbs olive oil as a healthy extra? Is it A or B? Am doing SW online and I can't find the answer.

Olive oil isn't a healthy extra. A is for calcium so is milk/cheese and B is for fibre so cereal/wholemeal bread etc.

LaLaBanana · 20/05/2015 09:39

I'm sure it used to be a healthy extra B until fairly recently, they must have changed it in the last couple of months

dexter73 · 20/05/2015 10:03

It is a B!! Found it tucked away - 1tbsp.

TalcumMucker · 20/05/2015 16:09

I joined in January and olive oil is definitely not a healthy extra any more, sorry!

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 20/05/2015 17:01

I joined 2 weeks ago and it is definitely there as a healthy extra b.

TalcumMucker · 20/05/2015 18:15

Really Bradley? It's not that I don't believe you, I just can't find it in the listings anywhere. Can you point me in the right direction as I'd love to use it as a healthy extra!

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 20/05/2015 18:24

I'm looking at page 31 near nuts and seeds. However, upon further investigtion on Minimins they are saying it is no longer a HEX b. I wonder if I have been given an old book? Like I said I was given this 2 weeks ago, but I am questioning it. I shall ask next Tuesday.

dexter73 · 20/05/2015 18:53

I found it in my old book. I have just checked the new book and it isn't in there.
Bradley - what colour is your book? The new one is black and the old one is orange.

thetroubleis · 20/05/2015 18:55

I'm doing it online and it specifically says it's not a healthy B any more because there's no fibre in it :(

ChessieFL · 20/05/2015 19:35

I joined in January and it's not in my book. Nuts and seeds on page 33 in my book and no mention of olive oil. Just linseed oil mentioned.

Yuleloglatte · 20/05/2015 19:47

I still count it as a healthy extra. I think the health benefits of olive or coconut oil are better than bread ( for me)
There is a new spray coconut oil that is free that might be an alternative for you?

MisForMumNotMaid · 20/05/2015 21:52

yule do you know the brand/ where this free coconut oil can be purchased?

dexter73 · 20/05/2015 22:25

I think they sell it at Tesco. Here

dexter73 · 20/05/2015 22:26

Mind you it is only 10% coconut oil, looking at the ingredients!
