I am mega busy all the time at the moment, rarely at home at lunchtime and have very limited time to make lunch. I was wondering if anybody would be able to advise me which pre-packed salads (dont like pre-packed sarnies) in any of the stores, eg M&S, Boots etc are sin free or as close to sin free as poss. Started doing SW myself and aiming for as low syn as poss to start me off. Also, can somebody please confirm that Alpen Light bars are Sin free or is this a healthy extra. Also how many healthy extras please?

Any salad without dressing would be free, other than that it'd depend on the dressing.

Sushi is pretty low.

Fruit is always handy.

You get one healthy b choice, 2 alpen lights make up a healthy extra.

Greggs spicy fajita chicken pasta pot is 4.5 syns

If you can grab a take-out jacket potato with beans that is free.

Just watching dressings on salads but any with chicken, ham etc would be free.

Thanks. Will probably go for sushi and fruit today for lunch. Good to know about that pasta pot from Greggs. Will ready up on all of this properly.

Was thinking today:

Breakfast 2 Alpen lights
Lunch - Sushi + fruit
Dinner - Maybe a SW recipe or possibly one of the SW ready meals with salad or frozen veg

Lots of water to drink and black tea, maybe a muller light along the way. I really want to quick start my weight loss tbh to motivate me. Would ideally like to lose a stone, but would be over the moon with the best part of half a stone off within two weeks. Have a family event (not a happy one unfortunately a funeral) and my motivation is not wanting my not so nice SIL to look at me and think " o you've put on weight", shallow I know but it will make me work at it.

Subway salads are a good option

Love the idea of a Subway salad for lunch

Jacket potato, cottage cheese and baked beans

This was syn free on Green a couple of years ago when I was doing SW, and was my go-to lunch out. I know that its all gone Extra Easy now though.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have decided to join a class properly on Tuesday, my Auntie has done really well on SW and made me feel really encouraged

If you have an iPhone you can download the SW app, there's a food search function on there thatni find invaluable when I'm out and about. Subway salads are great, you can ask for extra meat which is handy. Another vote for sushi as well!

Mattesons chicken fridge raiders are 4.5 a bag, I sometimes have those with a bag of salad.

Alpen lights are 2 for a HexB choice or around 3/3.5 syns each.
