Hi
I just can't get SP. could someone explain it to me in a very simple way, and give me some ideas of what you eat on sp days. I'm feeling like a glutton after easter scoffing and I need something to get me back on track. Thanks

It's basically all your fresh veg & salad, most fruit, lean meat & fish but no carb heavy things like pasta or rice,

S is for speed foods and P is for protein, so what Phoebe says is what you should be eating. Examples are omelettes, shepherds pie with carrot & swede mash, curry with cauliflower rice.

But you have 2 hexb's? So just basically no carbs? How about fat free yoghurt?

You're not supposed to eat yoghurt on SP. Not bananas, grapes and some other fruit.

You can eat beans and pulses though and yes, have two healthy b's.

A days food could be:

Breakfast: fresh fruit salad

Lunch: chicken salad sandwich with veg sticks and/or fruit

Dinner: SW pizza using Kingsmill sandwich thins as the base (now a HEb) with salad

Syns for whatever you like.

OR:

Breakfast: poached egg on toast

Lunch: lentil and bacon soup

Dinner: curry with cauliflower rice

HEb: 2 hifi lite bars

Syns for whatever you like.

I personally preferred original days, although they technically don't exist any more. I'm doing them this week though. I'm clearly a rebel... Grin

Oh thanks that's so helpful. It doesn't seem so bad. So pleased those Kingsmill slices are a hexb now I didn't know that! I'm 'excited' about trying cauliflower rice! I'm hoping 2 sp days a week will get the chub shifted. I was doing ok then it all slowed down, then easter eggs arrived......Confused
