I have onion omelette each morning
made with a little coconut oil...2 syns?
Lunch is green juice mainly with about 4oz of apple juice ( fresh) to make it more palatable

Evening is protein, veg and rice.

I don't eat bread pasta cake etc

Was planning on having 10 syns a day as I'm quite sedentary

Not keen on milk. Will have a little a day. Prefer cheese.

Having a bowl of green soup now.

Really speaking sw isn't about 'juices'. Its about real food. In my opinion, you should eat a bit more.Hmm

Thanks Annie

This is what I've had today

Omelette made as above

Green juice 2/3 greens 1/3 apple for taste. This is for health reasons.

Green soup.. Big bowl with lentils and a lot of fibre from juice

Supper...lamb with a stew of veg incl potato

Was going to have. 2 Nairn oatcakes as heb and a small piece of cheese as hea ( I wouldn't normally have these)

Im not sure oatcakes are heb .

Syns...might round the day off with a small square of choccy

I'm not sure what exactly is in your green juice, but are you aware that fruit juice/blended fruit etc must be synned if following SW?

Dowser · 23/02/2015 22:05

I thought that mid ori, but what about green juice.

Is that free do you know?

I have no idea, what's in it?

Purplevicki · 23/02/2015 22:44

Any fruit that is blended, juiced or cooked needs to be synned. Therefore this juice of which you speak needs to be synned due to the apples.

I'm not sure why you have to eat just green foods. That in itself is worrying. Our fruit and veg intake should be a range of different colours.

Have you misunderstood the concept of red and green days? (Which are now defunct)

Dowser · 23/02/2015 22:56

No, not at all. I've been drinking green juice for 6 months now most days. Just for health reasons as obviously it's low in sugar but high In Enzymes, vitamins, iron, magnesium , calcium etc I only have that on a lunchtime. Just to make it more palatable as I find kale and broccoli quite bitter I have a juiced apple in with it.

I thought I might have to syn the apples but wondered if I needed to syn the green juice.

Blended veg stays free, fruit doesn't... So just the apples, I think?

Dowser · 24/02/2015 09:40

That's what I wondered tabbouleh.

I didn't eat into my syns yesterday apart from the coconut oil in the breakfast omelette so they should more than cover it.

As I don't have too much to lose 10-14 lbs I'm sticking to 10 syns.

If I don't have them all and something comes up that I havent planned for then I'm hoping I won't blow it.

That's the theory anyway. I couldn't do a totally juice diet. I like my food and I like to chew

Has everyone seen the video fat! Sick and nearly dead. There they had juice only for 60 days. Take my hat off to them. The results were amazing but not something I could do unless desperate.
