Hi momwhereismy

It doesn't need to be fat free, just virtually fat free or low fat. All of the cottage cheese at Aldi is syn free, most of the ones at Asda are too. The ones with syns tend to be the ones that have fruit in.

If you go onto the Slimming World website and in syn tools first search the name of the shop you are going to, then search for cottage cheese and it will tell you the syns of all the ones you can get there.

I always use Aldi's plain cottage cheese when I'm making a quiche.

Ah perfect thanks! Never thought of using the syn toolsBlush. Aldi is perfect thanks again

Longleys virtually ff is amazing unfortunately only asda and morrisons do it.

Yes, Longley Farm fat-free cottage cheese is amazing (but I would say that, I'm from Holmfirth where the farm is!).

I'm sure they sell it in Sainsburys by us (I'm in Sheffield), but I'm not sure whether the supermarkets stock it nationally or whether they just distribute it in Yorkshire.

Cannelloni coming my way...after the major falling off the wagon this week I'm climbing back on
