Not lost much weight - but dropped a dress size

Ok, this will out me, but in my first week I forgot to get weighed Blush
But I stuck to the plan and in my first weighed week lost 2lb. Last week 1lb. This week - nothing.
The thing is, even I can see that I've lost weight. I've had to return a dress I bought at the beginning of the month and get a size smaller, my belt is a notch tighter and even my wedding ring is loose. My knee high boots do up without cutting off my circulation and my bra is gaping at the top. People are saying they can see it and I genuinely don't think they are just being polite! I'm not exercising much more so it's not that muscle is replacing fat.
Anyone else experiencing this? Or know why the scales aren't matching what I can see? Very odd!

Sometimes this happens to me. I can have a great week and think I've lost a good amount then when I weigh in I haven't lost or stayed the same. But I feel different in myself on those weeks, so I know what you mean.

Good luck, keep going.

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm more motivated by how I look/feel so am still sticking with it, I just don't understand the scales. Maybe I should not worry so much about weight...

Hi I feel the same as you. First week lost 2.5, then 3, then 3, then maintained then just a half. It's frustrating because I get the averages work out etc. but I find it hard to motivate myself when the scales aren't showing the changes I feel in myself. But I don't want to give up so just going to try and focus on the clothes and health benefits. Good luck Smile

Yes this happened to me. When I had lost 6 pounds people were stopping me and asking if I'd lost weight.

Even my asthma nurse who had no idea I'd been doing slimming world.

They were asking me how many stone I'd lost and I'd be so embarrassed to tell them that it was only six pounds!

It made me quite paranoid actually.
