Horrendous weekend!

I've had a horrendous weekend (family party and family staying over), just ate too much rubbish and now really angry with myself. I have 2 days until weigh in and really need to reverse things. Does anyone have any suggestions? Does sp work or should I just accept defeat?

I'm so annoyed with myself I got my half stone award last week (I joined 3 weeks ago) and now I've probably put it back on again! I know it's my own fault.

Don't panic & don't beat yourself up. It happens. You won't have put on loads & loads. Just get straight back on plan today.

I always found melon & strawberries really helped me when I'd had a binge. Not so much with loss but getting back out of eating crap as well.

If you really think you've piled on could you take a week's 'holiday' to give you some more time?

Thanks iklboo, I'll try the melon and strawberry's. The annoying thing is I'd usually go to the gym and do a couple of spin/Zumba classes but I have a pile of reports to write for tomorrow so I can't even do that. Sorry for the moan.

I don't think I should miss group or I think I should just accept it's been a bad week. I'm going to a different group, a day earlier this week too.

Don't panic or get cross with yourself as that could make you simply eat more in defeat.

Best thing is to accept that it has happened , draw a line under the weekend and move on.

Get back on plan and stick to it. Weighing in this week will be important and will help to keep you focused. These things do happen in life and as long as you get back on track over the course of time it won't matter.

I have had weeks like that but have realised that the I portent thing is to get back to plan afterwards and to keep going to the meetings regardless of what's happened.

Good idea. Just shrug this weekend off & carry on. Maybe try to keep your syns under 10 until weigh in day & up your super frees all round. Make a meal plan as well if you haven't already. That always focuses us.

Well I went to weigh in and gained 11/2 lb which was not as bad as expected, I thought I'd put the whole 1/2 stone back on! Back to the gym and plan for me. I am determined to loose at least 2 lb next week. I felt so much better without the junk food, I never realised how it made me feel before.

Has anyone else else noticed how addictive junk food is.

Well done you. And well done for getting back onto plan.

I put on 21/2 this week Sad so am now just outside target.

However I will keep going and aim to get back into target within next 2 weeks. I think I have a weeks grace before I have to pay again.

Junk food is certainly my downfall. Once I start I cannot stop grazing on anything I can find! Have had a stern talk with myself today so fingers crossed....

I'm a grazer when I'm not on plan too. If I see it I have to eat it! I'm trying to buy small packets of crisps 25g because at least then I have some control. Last week I bought a big pack for visitors nibbles and gobbled the whole pack! Once it's open I feel like I have to finish it.
