Thinking of joining . . .. . help!

Hi all,
im thinking of joining slimming world, during my time in university i gained quite a lot of weight. .. .ive manage to lose about 1 1/2 stone on my own but im really struggling now. I commute 40 miles each day to work so im basically in the car for 4 hours a day and dont get home till late. . . i love going the gym but i have a Labrador and ive got to walk him so finding time to go the gym in the week is virtually impossible :(
I started jogging with the dog a few months back so im trying to get more into that as well trying to do a jog most evenings - not always succeeding but im trying!
Im thinking of joining slimming world because even if i eat healthy and cut my portions down my weight doesnt seem to go anywhere, i recently broke up with my boyfriend of 6 years and even during a few weeks were i was rarely eating dinner (stress induced only!) i only lost a few pounds. Obviously skipping meals isnt healthy but i find im constantly hungry and if i eat anything even a healthy option my weight starts to go back up . . .
With my long commute i cant find a meeting local to me that would work - im also a bit uncomfortable with the meeting situation as well so im thinking of joining online - i just wondered if anyone had any experience of this and whether its worth doing. . . .
Have got my best friends wedding in June so hoping to lose at least another stone by then ..
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

The plan online or a group is good if you stick to it.
Its not about starving but sensible choices fresh foods fruit & veg. Breads & cereal are limited.
You get a milk choice a cereal/bread choice that need to be counted. Lean meat fish eggs no fat dairy are free as is veg fruit potatoes grains etc. As long as fresh or frozen, not processed.
Today I had
boiled eggs,brown toast & tea.
banana & yogurt.
Baked potato salad & ham
Tonight is piri chicken & veggie rice.
I have 'syns' to use which will be wine - about 2 glasses.
Have a look at the slimming world web page.
Does this sound like a plan for you?Smile

That's great. I've been unlucky in health the past few years, I had spinal surgery last summer and have just had the first of carpal tunnel surgery to my wrists. I have 3 stone to lose, feel bloated and slow and I'm a terrible comfort eater.
I plan to start SW either Wed or Thur this week when my guests leave. I am not able to get to a club so will be doing it at home. I just need inspiration and a buddy!

I get the not good health bit. Just take it one day at a time. Plan your meals and don't beat yourself up. See you around here.
