I'm joining SW tomorrow, what should I bring/be expecting?

I'm nervous!

Please tell me that my weight is kept confidential?

I need to do this, I've got 13+ stone to lose!

Well done you on taking that first step to a new you.

Yes, your weight is confidential and never discussed. They only discuss how much you lose. I have been going for nearly a year now and really enjoy the group. Everyone is so supportive.

Good luck and enjoy it.

Yes, each week the group are told what everyone lost but not their starting or current weight. Since you want to lose a lot, I'd suggest setting an interim target, losing 10% of your current weight is a good one, with a reward when you get there.
SW quite into certificates for each stone lost, 10%, slimmer of the week/month, which I thought were unbelievably naff but was secretly quite proud of the ones I got. Good luck!

Your weight is confidential. I found my group very supportive.

Expect a lot of Mullerlight!

And very good luck to you.

Hello, OP! I went to my first meeting on Saturday and couldn't have felt more welcome. I have loads to lose, too.
How did you find your first meeting?
