But I am really struggling to know what to have at lunch time. Before I started I had the new squares by warbuton ( not sure how you spell it) with homous ,rocket, tomato and onion. I'm not really keen on pasta. I just don't know what to have ,tea time I'm fine no probs but this is the meal where it can go all pear shaped for me! Any suggestions?!!

This is what I've had for lunch in this weeks food diary...

Ham and egg salad
Tuna and new potato salad
Red pepper and mushroom cous cous
Scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes + mushrooms on toast (uses HE)
Leek and Potato Soup
SW quiche and salad

All with frozen berries in sugar free jelly for desert.

Thanks choco, some really good ideas there with foods i really like also. Do you find the salads keep you full?

I think it's what goes with the salad that keeps me full. I use these boxes for salads to help keep the super free up compared to the free. The sauce pots help with measuring quantities of dressing out in advance so I can't be tempted to keep pouring come lunchtime.

This is what I've had this week :

Slice of SW frittata with salad

Slice of wholemeal bread (hexB) with poached eggs and beans

Jacket potato with prawns, salad

SW baby bel burger with baked beans and salad

Obviously really easy to substitute other toppings on toast, or with jacket potato.

I agree with you though, it's the meal that I struggle with most.

You can make syn free houmous (tin of chick peas, chopped clove of garlic, juice of half a lemon & 1/2 teaspoon cumin blitzed with a hand blender then get the warburtons wholemeal small loaf & use as your HEB, add the salad for your superfree and you've got a SW friendly version of your old lunch Grin. Other sandwich options include prawn with a tablespoon of v.v. Light mayo (1 syn) or smoked salmon & lemon juice. I also have rice with salmon fillet either hot at home with onion, peas, sweetcorn etc & soy sauce or as a salad with cucumber, tomato, spring onion & light mayo.

I usually have a jacket potato with cottage cheese ( with a big salad ) or egg and ham salad, followed by a yoghurt and some fruit. I eat loads and am hardly ever hungry Grin, I save my syns for the evenings when I will have a curly Wurly and a packet of pops crisps.

Ive just started a thread about this, Im really struggling with lunches! Im on day 3 and I've looked at all the recipes but they seem to presume you have access to cooking facilities. I need to take a packed lunch, I have had pasta salad and salad with chicken but its not very exciting!
