I've stupidly forgotten my lunch today and have a small sainsburys, a tesco and two sandwich shops at my disposal. What would you have for lunch? This happens often!! Confused

Bit late for today's lunch but when I did SW I used to get a small wholemeal roll, some nice sliced ham, Babybel cheeses and fruit. Maybe some Quavers as they're low in syns. Or sushi which was also very low in syns.

Thank you! So you know how mind boggling it can be when you end up stood in Tesco and you're starving hungry! Have some leftover jambalaya in the fridge - just praying I remember it in the morning! I ended up having a gorgeous but expensive salad from local sandwich shop today Smile

And how could I forget a Mullerlight yogurt?!!

EustaciaVye · 14/05/2014 15:51

I bought a sainsbury chicken and bacon layered salad with creme fraiche / pasta today. I thought I was being good until I looked it up - 13.5syns Shock

Jimmy if you truly are what you eat then I'm a banana muller!! Eustacia, that's happened to me so many times - I now use the 20 cals to a syn rule to avoid slipping up Grin

I was in the same position and bought a sainsburys variety sushi. I couldn't find it on the app but similar sushis seemed to be 4-5 syns.

I only started on Monday so just finding my way around!

EustaciaVye · 14/05/2014 21:25

That's a good rule bathildaBagshot.

BathildaBagshot · 15/05/2014 23:09

MsJupiter if you have any questions feel free to fire them my way!

Packets of cold roast chicken and other low-fat meats (bresaola - mmmmmm), lots of easy salad stuff, like bagged lettuce, cucumber (if you have access to a knife). A personal favourite here is a big tub of cherry tomatoes. I pop 'em like sweeties.Grin Fruit is a great filler, keep a bunch of bananas or a bag of apples next to you.

And yes to the Muller Lights!

MsJupiter · 15/05/2014 23:31

Thanks Bathilda!

Greenrememberedhills · 16/05/2014 12:06

Some pasta salads.

I think if you have a supermarket sandwich you deduct 6 syns if it is also your hexb.

Greenrememberedhills · 16/05/2014 12:22

Mugshots

MrsWembley · 16/05/2014 15:14

Mugshots to you too!
