amazing chocolate brownies

I have just made the most amazing chocolate brownies.

6 eggs separated
1tsp of vanilla
150g of sweetener
60g of cocoa

separate the eggs and whisk the whites
mix the other ingredients together, they will go quite tough, loosen with some of the whites and then fold in the rest of the whites.
I baked mine at 180 for 25 mins in a square silicone tray sprayed with buttery fry light

and then I made frosting, 4tbsp of quark, 2 tbsp of sweetener, 2tbsp of cocoa and 1 tsp of vanilla spread on top when cool,

the whole tray of brownies and frosting is only 12 syns!!
its very nice, so much so I ate my other halfs slice!

ooo will give this a try, whats the syns without the frosting?

if my working out is correct its around 10 syns with no frosting

That's a lot of sweetener.

I'd be worried about brain tumours ......

I thought that but you can use the sucralose one if you dont want the aspartame

150g of sweetener? Is a whole jar not only 75g?
Just double checking cause they sound nice but I wouldn't bother making them if it 2 jars of sweetener.

I've got some in the oven now...I only put in 50g of sweetener and the mix tasted plenty sweet enough.

I've no idea whether they'll be edible or not because I'm not usually a baker, lol.

Oh - I forgot, lol.

They're ok...you can taste the sweetener even with only 50g, but not too badly. They're not the best cakey things I've ever had, but far far from the worst and definitely worth making again for the sin value.

Given how high most cake is - definitely worth a try.

Syn - which my phone clearly objected to the first time, lol
