During the constant wind induced screaming from my 8 week old son last night (again, the words "walking zombie" were invented for me!) I invented a new product which will be a multi million best seller and all the dragons in dragons den will be begging to give me their money.
It works like this. I take girls in their young free and single days when they are meeting the love of their life or generally going out and having a good time and ask them whether they intend to have a baby or think they might in the future. If they answer yes they "give" me for future redemption some of their full uniterrupted 8 hours worth of sleep nights which I bank on their behalf - as many as they want to bank. Lets face it, it is much easier to make up for lost sleep in the subsequent nights when you are young free and single. Then when they have their babies they come and redeem a full nights sleep which they can take like a tablet or similar for instant bright eyed refreshedness to deal with their cherished little ones.
Of course it is fantasy land and impossible but I reckon it would be a bestseller if I could do it, I know I would buy it from me. Especially now and after last night and the previous few nights....
Anyway must now go and feed my 18 month old toddler who did sleep well last night, I am grateful for small mercies
