My DD2 recently has been screaming the house down when put to bed, bath, stories then bed time...she is teething at the moment but has seemed happy through out the day time. It's her last tooth so god help me.
I dont know if teething has anthing to do with it. Every night she has done alot of screaming when put to bed and dosnt want me near her of comforting her like I normally do
it's very upsetting, tonight we just left her to cry and she did about 10 mins screaming but this is because she hasnt had a nap today!
Normally it goes on for an hour and I get really stressed, I leave her to cry and take many breathers then go in again and try to calm her down.
She gets all hot and sweating and she's really upset, nothing I do will console her!
I cant remember DD1 doing this, is it a behaviour problem, or just her age and she's having a tantrum...
II'm a bit upset and am woundering how long this is going to go on.
I am thinking of moving her in with her sister then she wont feel like she's missing out, dad puts dd1 to bed and I do dd2...
anyone else have there 20 month or there abouts having fits of screaming out of control when put to bed?

our 19mo has also started doing this exact same thing!
have never had any problems with his sleeping, other than when he was getting lots of teeth - then he would cry, have a cuddle and go back to sleep.
now he is bathed, read a story and put to bed as normal, but SCREAMS the house down before he will sleep!and nothing will settle him,he just needs to scream it out! it is getting shorter though, now its about 10 mins and he is sleeping, so hopefully its going to keep getting shorter lol!
