stopped night feeds at 10 months but started co-sleeping

I am going back to work soon and really need more sleep. DD is 10 months and I have managed to wean her off the night BFs over the last few days. However I can't bear to do CC so have been bringing her into our bed and she has either dropped off next to me or I have managed to cuddle her back to sleep. She usually wakes just once in the night which I know is not bad compared with some, but she is often awake for an hour or more. She used to have just one quick feed and then go back to sleep, but recently the feeds haven't always been helping her get back to sleep so I decided it was time to stop, and she seems to have accepted this without complaint. Still BFing during the day which is lovely. I don't really want to do co-sleeping long term but am hoping that as she gets used to not having the night feeds she will stop waking up. Am I being totally naive? Is the fact that I am bringing her into the bed when she wakes just reinforcing the idea that there is a good reason to wake up and call out for me? Although I am so tired when I wake in the night I have to say she is just so adorable. Her latest habit is to grab a load of my hair and put it in her mouth with her thumb like a comforter
