my seven week old baby has been awake ALL day

She was up at 9am after a good couple of hours sleep and has been awake and feeding on and off since then. Yesterday was the same. She is really unsettled now (7.30pm) - is she overtired? how can i get her to sleep??

Try taking to a dark room, put on some white noise or loudly shhhhhh in her ear and gently rock. I'd also swaddle and use a dummy. It could take a while, but this used to work with my DS at that age.
