Dummy; sleep apeno and adenoids?

Can anybody give me and advice, my son suffers from a constant snotty nose (possibly enlarged adenoids) and sleep apeno. The other day I forgot his dummy, he had a fit and then went to sleep. So now I am thinking about getting rid, but will the sleep apeno wake him up? Now he just grabs on to his dummy when he turns over/stops breathing?

Not checked grammar, sorry in a rush.

Thanks in advance.

Do you mean sleep apnoea?

If so I think you need professional advice.
