Bloody hell, my body just fricking falls apart when pg. Where is this fricking 'blooming' I hear people speak of?

Anyway, aside from the insomnia, the C2 and C3 vertabrae causing me neck pain and headaches which I have seen a physio for, the stuffy nose for which I have to wear nasal strips every night, (that's not to mention all the non-lseep pg issues I have been having) I have a new issue sleep issue: basically I have been getting pain in my hips when I am lying on my side and last night I realised it must be a nerve, because the pain starts at the hips and then goes down the outside of my leg to my ankles. Does that sound like my sciatic nerve?

It's only when I lie on my side, but I can't really sleep on my back as I have no control over where I sleep (I'm just grateful I actually sleep) and I have a frigging rolled up towel in my pillow to help support my neck but is less comfy on my back.

Is there anything I can do? Am I just destined not to have a good night's sleep till, well, forever! I literally have not slept through the night since I found out I was pg and am not nearly 18 weeks. Have been signed off for a week, given sleeping tablets which weren't much use. I'm so fed up with being tired, it is really debilitating. I have NO life! I dread having to go into work. Someone please help, or just smakc me round the head so I go into a stupor.

Have you tried a pillow between your legs? I had one of those lovely big mansize ones! Called it Nigel. DH did not approve. But it worked for me.

Thanks, I will try my v pillow. I don't know if that will take the pressure off my nerves.
