Which tog duvet for a 5 year old in winter?

I need to buy a new duvet for my five year old lo and I am not sure which tog I should get for her for winter. Her room tends to be between 16/18 degrees celsius at night. What togs do you have for your dc?
Thanks so much for any help!

I have no idea what tog DS (6) and DD (4) have for their duvets - just picked up single duvets in tesco. Probably 10.5 but may well not be.

I've just bought duvets for my DSs (5 and 2) and read this

"When choosing a full-sized duvet for a child, unless their bedroom is very cold, it's best to stick with a lighter weight duvet between 4.5 and 9 tog. As children are smaller it means that their duvet traps more air and increases the level of warmth over and above that experienced by most adults. A heavier 13.5 tog duvet may well prove uncomfortable, and is not recommended."

on the John Lewis website.

I bought 7.5tog duvets and if they are cold add in a blanket underneath.

Guess it depends on your house. We bought light weight duvets last summer which were great - especially as they fit in the washing machine if there are any accidents!!
But when it started to get colder we had to buy thicker ones - 10 togs i think and then added a fleece blanket under the sheet as they were waking because they were cold.
Dh and I sleep better with a bit of fresh air in the bedroom and prefer to have the window open and a thicker quilt.
Wouldn't worry too much about a 5 year old overheating etc in the same way as a baby would, my kids just throw off the duvet if they get too hot!
