4 week old DS sleeps for ages in the afternoon...should I worry?

...or get down on my hands and knees and praise the Lord?

He can easily sleep for a 3-4 hour stretch every afternoon. Is this too much, provided he isn't missing feeds?
He sleeps reasonably well at night - up once or twice for a feed.

Any advice welcome.

I am not going to say don't worry, cause that is what mothers do.

I will say, you are incredibly lucky to have a baby who sleeps well. Enjoy it.

Brilliant!

My advice is: go and lie down, yourself!

His nap-time is your rest-time, and the housework can wait.

If it aint broke, don't fix it!

As long as he's sleeping reasonably okay in the night, I would just thank your lucky stars, and go and chill out on the sofa!!!

OK great...thanks all!

Off for a nap...

Afaik tiny babies are meant to sleep for about 18 hours a day. I say meant to as most of us don't/didn't have such luck

enjoy it, it probably won't last
