13 week DS still prefers to be swaddled than in a sleeping bag...

My first two DSs were put in a sleeping bag from about 8 weeks and both loved their sleeping bags and slept really well in them. DS3, now 13 weeks, on the other hand so far seems still to prefer to be swaddled up tight but with his left hand free to chew / suck for comfort. I've tried him in a bag but he was much more restless at night than when swaddled - waking up constantly and getting really sweaty even though it is a thin bag (he has eczema so we don't want him to get too sweaty as it flares up his skin). I just want to know whether anyone else had this experience. Whether to try him again in the bag, how old to try again, or whether there are alternatives to being swaddled and a sleeping bag which will keep him feeling secure but let him have one had out to suck? I guess what I want is a tighter, thinner sleeping bag! Is there such a thing?

Sorry, a bit long-winded!

i'd stick with swaddling if that's what works tbh!
