"Mum, I need a drink/wee/different teddy/blanket/cuddle/ etc" behaviour keeping older sister awake - and now my dinner is burnt!

DS (3.5) has started the bedtime shuffle of doing ANYTHING to avoid having to go to sleep. He stays in his his bed but shouts incessantly for about 45 minutes for any tiny little reason. This would be annoying enough but he's keeping his elder sister (just turned 6) awake and she's starting to get really upset about it. If I shut her door so she can't hear him, she gets spooked and if I shut his door so no-one can hear (my preferred option )he gets furiously cross. Any tips? I'm 30 weeks pregnant with number three and spent so longer traipsing up and down the stairs tonight that my dinner is burnt beyond recognition!

Send their dad up?

Daddy is in Afghanistan otherwise he'd be trekking up and down, believe me!
