I'm so exhausted our 10mth old girl twin thinks it is great to sleep in blocks 7.30 to 1.30 3.30 to 5.00 6.30 to 8.00. The boy sleeps through in the same room but is now starting to wake with her and thinks it is play time too. 2 year old fortunately can sleep through all of this. What can I do we are so exhausted have not slept all night since they were born. She whinges and cries and drones on for hours and needs a bottle to get back to sleep. have taken to putting her downsatirs in the travel cot to let her get on with it. It's really getting us down as I study 3 days a week and hubby works but both falling asleep by lunchtime.

barnz we had to separate our boy and girl twins as she woke him up constantly.
My Dh (a doctor)used to nap every afternoon for a half hour in his office with the door locked instead of having his lunch

Thanks carriemac, we are putting her downstairs in the living room at present as the elusive extra bedroom is not available. She can cry for up to 2 hours a night that is with us going in to reassure her. It really is beyond a joke as the other two are 12 / 13 hour a night kind.. Did your girl sleep once separated?

It took a while, had to stop feeds at night, cut down on daytime sleep etc, but now she is the best sleeper of the bunch
why dont u keep her up if she wakes at 6.30 am?
