We have an oil filled radiator from Argos, been wonderful at heating my son's very cold bedroom. Until now when at 3 years old he cries when it clicks on and off through the night. How ridiculously sensitive of him!But a pain as now his room is back to below 15 degrees and then he wakes from cold! Anyone found a truly silent one..........please?

We've got a delonghi dragon 3 one - purchased earlier this year from John Lewis. It was a bit expensive compared to some, but we don't find it particularly noisy at all - I'm a light sleeper and get annoyed by the smallest of noises. If he is waking when cold, is it because he throws his covers off in the night? Is he too big for a baby-style sleeping bag? or have you considered the grobag company's bedding which I think zippers the duvet to the sheet so it can't come off in the night. Not tried it myself (my DS is only 10 months) but he is getting on ok with the grobags themselves at the mo.
