anyone used a bed guard for co sleeping and naps?

I am wondering about getting a bed guard for our bed as Ds who is now 6 months rolls around a lot. It would be mainly for nap times when i am not in bed, his cot is side-car on our bed at the moment so the guard would be for the other side.

Anyone else used this and was it ok? Any recommendations?

I used one on our bed when we coslept and I did leave him on the bed for naps too. However, he did not roll. Ever. We had the bedrail on my side mostly so he did not fall off while i fed him on that side. I never put one on the other side of the bed.

I used one. I got it from Mothercare and it worked well. Once we've moved on from co-sleeping it will fit on his 'big boy bed'. I think it said not to use until 18 months or something like that but I used it from 4 months.
