moving out of moses basket

What did most do when DC got too big for moses basket? Given that current advice re SIDS is to have baby sleep in parents room until 6 months. Our DD is still in basket, but I know she'll be too big for it in the next 4 weeks (she's 15 weeks old) and her cot is currently in her room. We could dismantle and move to our room although it would be a bit of a squeeze.

we brought the cot into our room until dd and ds were old enough to go int their own room. They were about 8 months when we shifted the cot back out of our room.
