I give up....come and give me advice..How do I stop a 2yr removing clothes at night.?

[shhhh]

Well basically ds (2.6yrs) removes his clothes anytime...while watching tv to playing to while sitting in his cot while I dress in a morning...

I can put up with it just udring the days BUT how do I stop it at night.?

He is currently screaming blue murder upstairs in his cot and I have already been up to him only to find him virtually naked.

Many night he gives in and I check on him later to find him particlly clothed...

He mostly wants to remove his nappy and im currently trying my best to potty train him BUT imo even once PT he will still need a nappy for a bit at night (medical issues) and will defo need clothes!

I have managed to find that a baby vest with poppers can't be removed but feel its to hot atm for this...He's removed his grobag and babygro.. HELP please!!

not sure if they need to wear anything in this weather, but have you tried putting his nappy on backwards? I have no experience of this but just wonder if it would buy you more time as he's going to sleep ie would take him longer to figure out how to get it off... but if they are pull ups I guess that doesn't help.

DS has gone to bed naked. He is dry at night though. other than him taking his nappy off does it matter if he wears clothes at night?

i've no suggestions on how to cheap the nappy on though, sorry.

Thing is, Im fine with him sleeping neked BUT its the nappy issue. He's not PT so goodness knows what I would wake to... He also has hirschprungs disease and although medically corrected we are not sure what control etc he has over his bowel...very up in the air atm.

I may not be too trusting with him iykwim but very wary of how things are...

if he can't get a poppered vest off then just put that on. he won't be too hot if he is just in that, no babygro

duh, why didn't I think of that ..geez I amaze myself with how dim I can be .

My DD used to take the nappy off til we bought some different ones and told her they were special nighttime pants. Worked a dream (god knows why cause she can be a very difficult bugger othertimes!), she thought they were extra special and kept them on.

ds goes to sleep naked most nights except for his nappy.
i put him in pjs but he usually strips off
in this weather its fine

I shall look at that route as well mycat..kids can sometimes be fooled .

allabout..its not the issue about clothing its more the issue that I want him to keep clothes on as its his nappy he wants off lol !

Did this work?? My 22 month DD strips off every night including nappy. Just been up to strip the bed as she had piddled everywhere. She can unpop vests that I put under her PJs and off the nappy comes!!!
