Surfermum · 24/05/2005 13:10

I am very, very lucky in that I am not a morning person and dd (2) sleeps from 7pm to 8/8.30 am.

geogteach · 24/05/2005 13:12

Similar here too, DS2 7 months, DS1 4 the same if not worse!

dd is 2.4 and her "normal" routine is 7pm to 8am.

Twiglett · 25/05/2005 22:04

I'm not playing here because you'll all just mad at me

Twiglett · 25/05/2005 22:05

suffice to say that had to wake DS up again today

elsmommy · 25/05/2005 22:05

My dd (20mths) goes to bed at 9 or 9:30 and wakes about 5!!

beansmum · 25/05/2005 22:06

ds 1 (next week) usually sleeps 8pm to 6.30am, but this morning I had to wake him up to get ready for nursery at 7.45am, soooooo annoyed that he decided to sleep in on a weekday, couldn't he have waited until saturday!

Nemo1977 · 25/05/2005 22:10

my ds is 19mths and from around 12mths has gone to bed around 7-7.30 and woken between 6-6.30...so i do think its anorm.

hotmama · 25/05/2005 22:10

DD is nearly 8 months goes to bed 7.30/8ish - out of bed at 7 a.m. but wakes anytime from 6.15ish but just plays and talks - at least doesn't cry!

hermykne · 26/05/2005 07:53

thanks all, so its pretty much the norm with the odd rare lie in on a weekeday!!

hermykne - ds used to get up at 6am on the dot. What we found is that when he reached toddler hood he started lying in until about 7.30 - 8 - which is lovely! I think that as they get older and are more active (and therefore get more tired) that they lay in longer.

jessicasmummy · 26/05/2005 08:50

dd is 10 months old. Used to (up until 2 nights ago) go down at 6.30pm until anywhere between 5 and 6 in the morning.

Tuesday night, she wouldnt settle til 8.15pm and was up at 6.10am

Last night - nightmare! 9pm before she went down, but slept right through until 6.45am - amazed!

Think she may be trying to adjust her sleep times. 2 nights this week of sleeping through!!! My dd has never slept through! We do still dream feed at 11pm though....
