He has had the same bedtime routine since about 8 weeks (bath, milk, story, cuddle, bed) but since Monday has started crying when we leave him (both nap and bedtime). We have stuck to his routine and he cries for about 5 mins and then goes to sleep (sleeping through from about 7.30 to 6.30). Any ideas why he has started doing this now and and advice about how to handle it? During the day he's lovely; happy, cuddly, chatty, lively etc. Maybe it's a normal stage for him to go through but doesn't feel very nice.
